Prof. Alessandra Gennari is Professor of Oncology at the University of Eastern Piedmont (UPO) and Head of the Division of Oncology at Maggiore University Hospital, Novara, Italy. She also leads the Laboratory of Immuno-Oncology at the UPO-CAAD Center for Immune and Allergic Diseases. Her expertise includes molecular and therapeutic innovation in breast cancer, with a focus on individual drug responsiveness, endocrine responsiveness imaging by PET-CT with 18F-FES, and immunotherapy in metastatic breast cancer. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and is the first (lead) author of the ESMO Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Guidelines.
