He is a specialist in lung cancer with a focus on predictive biomarkers, target agents, and immunotherapy. Dr. Passaro is a member of the ESMO Council where he serves as the Chair of the Communications Committee. He is an author of more than 130 peer-reviewed publications and is actively involved in clinical trials and translational research. Dr. Passaro’s foremost research endeavors are dedicated to pioneering targeted therapies tailored specifically for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with driver alterations. Simultaneously, he advocates for the personalized application of immunotherapy, guided by clinical and biological biomarkers.
